Weinmannia racemosa, commonly known as Kamahi, is one of New Zealand’s most widespread native trees. This evergreen species features leathery green leaves and clusters of small, creamy white flowers that bloom in spring and summer, attracting bees and birds. Kamahi is admired for its adaptability and resilience, making it suitable for native restoration projects, shelterbelts, and large gardens across NZ. It adds structure, biodiversity, and elegance to any landscape.
