Kamahi, Kamahi Tree
Weinmannia racemosa, commonly known as KÄmahi, is a versatile and hardy native New Zealand tree. It features serrated green foliage and clusters of small white flowers that appear in spring and early summer. KÄmahi grows 8–25 m tall and is found throughout NZ's forests, playing an important ecological role in supporting native wildlife. Its adaptability to coastal, lowland, and upland environments makes it ideal for revegetation, erosion control, and enhancing biodiversity in both urban and rural landscapes.
