Ulmus Dodoens is a variety of Dutch Elm and is a spectacular tree that is grown for its colourful foliage. The leaves emerge a fresh green colour in spring, age to dark green, then develop golden-yellow tones in autumn before falling. This Dutch Elm grows with an upright and pyramidal habit to about 20 m tall and 8 m wide. Ulmus Dodoens is commonly grown as a specimen or used in avenue plantings.

Ulmus Dodoens is a variety of Dutch Elm and is a spectacular tree that is grown for its colourful foliage. The leaves emerge a fresh green colour in spring, age to dark green, then develop golden-yellow tones in autumn before falling. This Dutch Elm grows with an upright and pyramidal habit to about 20 m tall and 8 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site with some shelter. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, poor soils, and dry periods. Ulmus Dodoens is commonly grown as a specimen or used in avenue plantings.
