Tutcheria spectabilis, commonly known as the Fried Egg tree, is grown for its lush foliage and elegant flowers. It grows with a rounded habit bearing large and glossy, bright-green leaves. The foliage is adorned with white flowers with a yellow centre. This evergreen typically grows to 5 m tall and the same wide, but can be trimmed to sizes much less than this. Best performance with this tree is achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. Tutcheria spectabilis is often included in mixed plantings, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown as a specimen.
