Tilia tomentosa Orbicularis is a majestic specimen tree grown for its rich and gently trailing foliage. The silver colouring provides a shimmering display in a gentle breeze. These are held off cascading branches which also host yellow flowers. The fragrant flowers in summer are great for attracting bees and other fauna. It grows with a single trunk and a conical shape to eventually reaches 15 m tall and 8 m wide. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and dry periods.
