Pyrus calleryana Cleveland, commonly known as the Cleveland Pear tree, is an ornamental pear grown for its flowering, narrow form, and fabulous autumn colours. It features deep green foliage that develops burgundy red-purple tones in autumn before falling. Masses of white flowers are borne in spring just as the leaves emerge. This flowering pear tree grows with a somewhat columnar habit to about 10 m tall and 3.5 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Pyrus calleryana Cleveland is commonly used for street or avenue planting, grown as specimen, or added to a mixed planting in a larger garden.

Pyrus calleryana Cleveland, commonly known as the Cleveland Pear tree, is an ornamental pear grown for its flowering, narrow form, and fabulous autumn colours. It features deep green foliage that develops burgundy red-purple tones in autumn before falling. Masses of white flowers are borne in spring just as the leaves emerge. This flowering pear tree grows with a columnar habit to about 10 m tall and 3.5 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this tree are achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, wind, dry periods, and heavy soils.
