Pyrus Autumn Leaves, commonly known as the Birchleaf Pear or Autumn Pear tree, is an onamental pear grown for its blossoms, tidy form, and fabulous autumn colours. Masses of single, white flowers are borne in spring just as the leaves start to emerge. The dark green foliage emerges, remains this colour until autumn, then colourful red and orange tones before falling. It grows with a rounded shape when young and tends to broaden as it matures to 4 m tall and 3 m wide. Pyrus Autumn Leaves is commonly grown as specimen, or added to a mixed planting.
