Prunus Ukon is a tree grown for its impressive flowering and autumn leaf colouring. Pink buds open in spring to reveal large and showy, double, lime green flowers. The foliage emerges bronze coloured in spring, ages to mid-green, then develops red and orange tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a vase shape to about 5 m tall and the same wide. Prunus Ukon Details

Prunus Ukon is a tree grown for its impressive flowering and autumn leaf colouring. Pink buds open in spring to reveal large and showy, double, lime green flowers. The flowers age to a darker green and take on pink tones. The foliage emerges bronze coloured in spring, ages to mid-green, then develops red and orange tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a vase shape to about 5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in a full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and periods of dry. Prunus Ukon is stunning when in flower and makes a fine addition to any garden. It is commonly used in avenue plantings, grown as a specimen, or added to a mixed planting.
