"Peggy Clarke" is a variety of Japanese Apricot and features masses of pretty flowers in spring. The double, pink blooms are borne in clusters through spring, just before the foliage begins to emerge. This deciduous tree grows with a vase shaped habit bearing green foliage which develops yellow and orange tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide, performing best when planted in a full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and periods of dry. "Peggy Clarke" is a stunning tree when in flower and makes a fine addition to any garden. It is commonly used in avenue plantings, grown as a specimen, or included in a mixed planting.
