Populus alba Pyramidalis is a variety of the commonly known, White Poplar, and is a large, fast growing, deciduous tree. It features an upright and tight form around a central, white trunk. The leaves are dark green, have a fluffy, white, underside, and develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It will grow quickly to about 25 m tall and 6 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Populus alba Pyramidalis is ideal as a shelter belt, for screening out noise and dust, or for soil conservation and riparian plantings. It also makes for a lovely specimen and looks great when used to line an entranceway.

Populus alba Pyramidalis is a variety of the commonly known, White Poplar, and is a large, fast growing, deciduous tree. It features an upright and tight form around a central, white trunk. The leaves are dark green, have a fluffy, white, underside, and develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It will grow quickly to about 25 m tall and 6 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. It grows best when planted in full sun across all soil types except extreme dry. It is hardy to frost, cold environments, dry periods, coastal conditions, wind, and wet soils. The rapid growth rate of Populus alba Pyramidalis makes it ideal as a shelter belt, for screening out noise and dust, or for soil conservation and riparian plantings. It also makes for a lovely specimen and looks great when used to line an entranceway.
