Poplar Chiba

Poplar Chiba, Populus Chiba

Poplar Chiba is a fast-growing deciduous tree. It grows with a tight and upright habit with a central trunk. The leaves emerge a fresh green colour in spring and develop golden yellow tones in autumn before falling. They are held densely as it grows to 18 m tall and 3 m wide. The rapid growth rate of Poplar Chiba makes it ideal for using as a shelter belt and for screening out noise and dust. It is also well suited to helping with soil conservation, including in riparian plantings, growing as a specimen, or using to line an entranceway.
