It typically grows with a single trunk and has flaky, paper-like bark, eventually reaching 20 m tall and 12 m wide with a trunk that can become over 1 m in diameter. Podocarpus hallii makes for a lovely specimen in parks and the like and is also well suited to being included in revegetation plantings.
