Kohuhu, Pittosporum tenuifolium
Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Wrinkled Blue’, commonly known as Kohuhu, is a small, NZ native tree that grows vigorously, producing small, silver-blue, wavy-edged leaves on thin, black stems. The growth is held tightly as it grows to 4 m tall and 2 m wide. Pittosporum ‘Wrinkled Blue’ is commonly included in coastal gardens, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, trimmed into a hedge, or planted for shelter and screening.
