Phebalium squameum is a fast-growing, small tree featuring aromatic, olive-like leaves which are narrow, dull green above and silver-white underneath. Small, cream-coloured flowers are borne through spring amidst the foliage. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 1 m wide. Phebalium squameum is commonly grown for shelter, screening, or trimmed into a hedge.
