Michelia Star Bright is a handsome, evergreen tree that carries glossy, dark green leaves which are very aesthetic in their own right. The foliage is adorned with masses of velvet buds during winter which open in pure white flowers with a mild fragrance in spring. This evergreen typically grows to 4 m tall and 2 m wide. Michelia Star Bright is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, clipped into a hedge, used in an avenue planting, planted to border an entrance, added to a cottage garden, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
