Melicope Wharangi Gold is a small, NZ native tree grown for its lovely foliage. It bears lime-green leaves which are held with a lush appearance and release a pleasant scent when crushed. Clusters of small and scented, green flowers are borne in summer and result in black fruits which are great for attracting birds. This evergreen typically grows to 5 m tall and 3 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary.
