This evergreen typically grows to 20 m tall and 8 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal environments, moderate frost, dry periods, and wind. Melaleuca styphelioides is commonly grown as a specimen, used for shelter and screening, used in coastal plantings, or planted to attract wildlife.
