Malus Mt Aurum Details

Malus Mt Aurum is a variety of Crabapple grown for its flowering and colourful fruits. It produces masses of pink buds that open into showy, white flowers in spring. These result in yellow fruit in autumn which attract all manner of wildlife and can be used to make Crabapple jelly. The foliage in spring emerges green, ages to a darker green, and then develops yellow tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Malus Mt Aurum performs best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site that does not dry out. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates. This Crabapple is commonly grown as an impressive specimen, added to a mixed planting, or included anywhere it can be appreciated.
