Malus Ellerslie

Malus Ellerslie is a variety of Crabapple that features masses of large and showy, single, rose-pink flowers through spring. These result in small, red fruit in autumn. The foliage emerges with a red tint in spring, ages to bronze during summer, then develops colourful red tones in autumn before falling. The fruit and foliage are held on pendulous branches as it grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Malus Ellerslie is commonly grown as a specimen, added to a mixed planting, included in cottage gardens, or included anywhere it can be appreciated.
