“Rosea” is a lovely variety of Magnolia grown for its flowers and compact growth. Dark pink flower buds open in spring to reveal fragrant, star shaped pink flowers which fade to white with age. The blooms appear just before the lush green leaves emerge. It typically grows to 6 m tall and 4 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary.
