Magnolia Star Wars is an outstanding tree due to its spectacular flowering and tidy form. It bears masses of mildly fragrant, pink flowers in spring which open to reveal a blushed white interior. The flowers are borne on the naked stems before the foliage emerges, providing for a dramatic and colourful display. The leaves emerge light green in spring, age to become a darker green, then develop yellow tones in autumn before falling.
