Magnolia Sir Harold Hillier is spectacular tree with beautiful flowers. It bears masses of large and showy, pure white flowers in late winter and early spring on the naked stems, before the foliage emerges. The lush, dark green foliage emerges soon after, remains this colour until autumn, then develops yellow tones before falling. It typically grows to 6 m tall and 5 m wide, and can be contained with trimming. This Magnolia grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost and cool climates.
