Magnolia rostrata, commonly known as Beaked Magnolia, is a deciduous tree grown for its showy flowers and lush foliage. It bears large and showy, ivory-coloured flowers through late spring and early summer. The foliage comprises very large, mid-green leaves which serve as a pleasant backdrop to the flowers.
