Kobus Magnolia, Kobushi Magnolia
Magnolia Kobus, commonly known as Kobus Magnolia or Kobushi Magnolia, is a deciduous tree that bears masses of showy, pure white flowers through late winter and early spring. The fragrant blooms are borne on the naked stems before the foliage emerges. It typically grows to 10 m tall and 6 m wide and can be contained with trimming. Magnolia kobus makes for a lovely specimen and is commonly added a mixed planting, included in “white” gardens, or used in avenue plantings.
