Magnolia grandiflora Exmouth, commonly known as the Southern Magnolia, Bull Bay, or Evergreen Magnolia, is popular due to its flowering performance and attractive foliage. Showy flower buds open during late spring and summer to reveal large and fragrant, cream-white flowers. The blooms appear amidst the large and glossy, dark green leaves as it grows to 10 m tall and 8 m wide. Magnolia Exmouth is commonly grown as a specimen, added into a mixed planting in a large garden, or used in an avenue planting.

Magnolia Exmouth Details

Magnolia grandiflora Exmouth, commonly known as the Southern Magnolia, Bull Bay, or Evergreen Magnolia, is popular due to its flowering performance and attractive foliage. Showy flower buds open during late spring and summer to reveal large and fragrant, cream-white flowers. The blooms appear amidst the large and glossy, dark green leaves and together provide an outstanding display. This evergreen grows with a pyramidal shape to about 10 m tall and 8 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. This Magnolia grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of moderate frost and cool climates. Magnolia Exmouth is commonly grown as a specimen, added into a mixed planting in a large garden, or used in an avenue planting.
