“Felix Jury” is a variety of Magnolia grown for its spectacular flowering. It bears masses of large and showy, semi-double, bright pink flowers through late winter and spring. The fragrant flowers are borne on the naked stems before the foliage emerges. The lush foliage emerges dark green in spring, remains this colour until autumn, then develops yellow tones before falling. This deciduous tree typically grows to 6 m tall and 4 m wide and can be contained with trimming. This Magnolia grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost and cool climates. “Felix Jury” is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, or used in an avenue planting. The beauty of this tree will please no matter where it is planted.
