Magnolia Tree Deryk
Magnolia Deryk is a deciduous tree that bears masses of large and showy, dark red-purple flowers from late winter until early spring. The flowers are borne on the naked stems before the foliage emerges. It grows with a narrow and upright habit to about 4 m tall and 2.5 m wide and can easily be contained with trimming. Magnolia Deryk is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, added to a cottage garden, used in avenue plantings, or grown as a backdrop for smaller plants.
