Magnolia Brixton Belle is an outstanding deciduous tree due to its spectacular flowering. It bears masses of large and showy, two-toned pink flowers in spring. The fragrant blooms are borne on the naked stems before the foliage emerges. The leaves emerge mid-green in spring, age to become dark green, then develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. This variety grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost and cool climates. Magnolia Brixton Belle makes for a fantastic specimen and is commonly added to a mixed planting, or trimming into a hedge. The beauty of this tree will please no matter where it is planted.
