Lophostemon confertus, commonly known as the Brisbane Box Tree, is a stately tree that produces a dense and rounded crown of impressive foliage. This evergreen bears large and glossy, lance-shaped leaves which are held densely off spreading branches. Clusters of feathery, white flowers are produced in spring and summer as it grows to 15 m tall and 6 m wide. Lophostemon confertus is commonly used as a specimen in parks and large gardens, used in avenue plantings, or grown as a wind break or for screening on lifestyle properties and farms.

Lophostemon confertus, commonly known as the Brisbane Box Tree, is a stately tree that produces a dense and rounded crown of impressive foliage. This evergreen bears large and glossy, lance-shaped leaves which are held densely off spreading branches. Clusters of feathery, white flowers are produced in spring and summer, and are great for attracting birds, bees, and butterflies. It typically grows to 15 m tall and 6 m wide, growing best in full sun on a well-drained site with good soil moisture during dry periods. It is tolerant of frost and dry periods once established. Lophostemon confertus is commonly used as a specimen in parks and large gardens, used in avenue plantings, or grown as a wind break or for screening on lifestyle properties and farms.
