The yellow flowers in summer are tulip-like in size, shape, and appearance. They are complemented with large and glossy, green leaves which turn a rich shade of yellow in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 25 m tall and 15 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site.
