“Souvenir DHubert Pouard” is a stunning, small tree grown for its lovely flowers and colourful foliage. It produces clusters of ruffled, light pink flowers in such abundance they literally transform the plant during summer. The showy flowers are complemented with lush foliage which emerges lime green in spring, ages to mid-green in summer, then develops orange and yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows upright, producing a compact and rounded head as it reaches 5 m tall and 3 m wide. This tree can be trimmed as necessary and performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site.
