The showy flowers are complemented with lush foliage which emerges lime green in spring, ages to mid-green in summer, then develops orange and yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows upright, producing a compact and rounded head as it reaches 5 m tall and 3 m wide. This tree can be trimmed as necessary and performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site.
