To grow Kunzea triregensis in New Zealand, plant it in full sun with well-drained soil and shelter from strong winds. This rare native species prefers open conditions and will tolerate dry, poor, or coastal soils once established. Water regularly during the first growing season to help roots develop, then reduce watering as the plant matures. Prune lightly to encourage a tidy shape if needed. Kunzea triregensis is a hardy and well-suited plant for native or restoration plantings.
