Halleria lucida, commonly known as Tree Fuchsia, is a small tree grown for its flowers and fruits. It grows as multi-stemmed plant with attractive, glossy green foliage held on gently arching branches. During summer it bears masses of tubular, orange or pale-yellow flowers amidst the foliage which result in large and round, juicy fruits. It grows with an upright and broad habit to 8 m tall and 4 m wide. Halleria lucida is commonly planted to attract wildlife but also makes for a lovely specimen and is well suited to including in a mixed planting.

Halleria lucida, commonly known as Tree Fuchsia, is a small tree grown for its flowers and fruits. It grows as multi-stemmed plant with attractive, glossy green foliage held on gently arching branches. During summer it bears masses of tubular, orange or pale-yellow flowers amidst the foliage. The flowers are full or nectar and attract a wide array of birds and insects. The flowers result in large and round, juicy fruits which also attract birds. It grows with an upright and broad habit to 8 m tall and 4 m wide though can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this tree is achieved when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost and wind as well as periods of dry. Halleria lucida is commonly planted to attract wildlife but also makes for a lovely specimen and is well suited to including in a mixed planting.
