The foliage is dark green with new growth having red tones. The unique and unusual flowers are red or pink and are produced from spring through summer as it grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide. Grevillea baklava is commonly trimmed into a tall hedge, used for screening, or included in mixed plantings.

Grevillea barklyana, commonly known as Gully Grevillea or Large-Leaf Grevillea, is a tree grown for its bird-attracting flowers and lovely foliage. The foliage is dark green with new growth having red tones. The unique and unusual flowers are red or pink and are produced from spring through summer. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance is achieved when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site.
