Best performance with this tree is achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, and coastal environments. Grevillea baileyana is commonly trimmed into a tall hedge, used for screening, grown as a specimen, planted in avenues, or included in mixed plantings in larger gardens.
