Ginkgo biloba Pendula is grown for its colourful foliage and weeping growth habit. This deciduous tree has distinctive, fan-shaped, rich green leaves which are held on branches that are held with a gentle arch. The leaves turn bright yellow in autumn before falling and form a golden carpet around the tree as they fall. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide. Ginkgo biloba Pendula is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, maintained in a courtyard garden, planted around outdoor living areas, or planted to soften a bland wall.
