Fraxinus Green Glow is a variety of Ash grown for its rich and colourful foliage. This deciduous tree produces dense and lush, bright green foliage which turns impressive shades of red, orange, and purple in autumn before falling. It grows with a rounded crown to about 10 m tall and 5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, some wind, dry periods, cool climates, and a wide range of soil types, barring extreme wet and dry. We do advise protecting the tree while it is establishing which will result in a better specimen. Fraxinus Green Glow is commonly grown as a specimen in parks or large gardens, or used in avenue plantings.
