It features branches held in a pendulous manner and leaves that emerge light green in spring and remain this colour until autumn. As autumn progresses the foliage develops impressive golden yellow tones before falling. It produces a rounded crown as it grows to 8 m tall and 5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate some wind, dry periods, cool climates, frost, and coastal environments.
