“Cimmzam” is a variety of Ash grown for its rich and colourful foliage, and fantastic form. This deciduous tree grows quickly and produces dark green leaves which develop yellow, orange, and red tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a dense and rounded crown to about 10 m tall and 5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, some wind, dry periods, cool climates, and a wide range of soil types, barring extreme wet and dry. We do advise protecting the tree while it is establishing through staking and watering which will result in a better structured tree. “Cimmzam” is commonly grown as a specimen in parks or large gardens, or used in avenue and street plantings. It is well suited to lining a driveway or using to border an entrance.
