Fraxinus Annesbrook is a variety of Ash grown for its rich and colourful foliage. This deciduous tree grows quickly and produces dark green leaves which develop bright yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a rounded crown to about 10 m tall and 5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, some wind, dry periods, cool climates, and a wide range of soil types, barring extreme wet and dry. The Plant Company recommends the tree is protected while it establishes with staking and watering to produce a better structured tree. Fraxinus Annesbrook is commonly grown as a specimen in parks or large gardens, or used in avenue plantings.
