Ficus auriculata, commonly known as the Roxburgh Fig or Elephant Ear Fig, is a mid-sized, evergreen tree featuring lush and glossy, green foliage. Small, green figs are produced in autumn that ripen to become purple. It grows with a broad and rounded habit to about 12 m tall 7 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Ficus auriculata makes for a lovely specimen and is well suited to avenue planting or growing for screening and shelter.

Roxburgh Fig

The Roxburgh Fig (Ficus auriculata) is a mid-sized, evergreen tree featuring lush and glossy, green foliage. Small, green figs are produced in autumn that ripen to become purple. It grows with a broad and rounded habit to about 12 m tall 7 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results this tree are achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained site, protected from frost. The Roxburgh Fig makes for a lovely specimen and is well suited to avenue planting or growing for screening and shelter.
