Roxburgh Fig, Elephant Ear Fig
Ficus auriculata, commonly known as the Roxburgh Fig or Elephant Ear Fig, is a mid-sized, evergreen tree featuring lush and glossy, green foliage. Small, green figs are produced in autumn that ripen to become purple. It grows with a broad and rounded habit to about 12 m tall and 7 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Ficus auriculata makes for a lovely specimen and is well suited to avenue planting or growing for screening and shelter.
