Eucalyptus polyanthemos is a tree that grows to 20 m tall and 8 m wide. It often has a crooked trunk which tends to provide interest along with its attractive, grey-green foliage. White flowers are borne from spring through summer. It grows best in full sun on a well-drained site, though can tolerate extended dry periods, poor soils, and moderate frost. This hardy tree is great for hedging, wind breaks, screening, or planting in a large garden as a shade tree.
