Corymbia maculata, commonly known as the Spotted Gum, is an attractive, fast-growing tree that features bountiful clusters of fragrant, white flowers sporadically throughout the year. It has blue-green foliage held off spreading branches, and is known for its shedding of bark which creates large spots. It grows with a broad habit and can reach 30 m tall and 12 m wide. Corymbia maculata is well suited to parks, large gardens, and is commonly used for shelter on drier soils.
