Corymbia citriodora, commonly known as the Lemon-Scented Gum tree, is one of the more popular Eucalypts. It is an attractive, fast-growing tree that features bountiful clusters of white flowers sporadically throughout the year. It has green-yellow foliage that releases a lemon-scent when crushed and is used to make citronella oil. Corymbia citriodora is well suited to parks, large gardens, and is commonly used for shelter on drier soils.
