Corymbia citriodora, commonly known as the Lemon-Scented Gum tree, is one of the more popular Eucalypts. It is an attractive, fast-growing tree that features bountiful clusters of white flowers sporadically throughout the year. It has green-yellow foliage that releases a lemon-scent when crushed and is used to make citronella oil. It grows with a spreading habit and can reach 25 m tall and 12 m wide. It grows best in full sun on a well-drained site and can tolerate wind, extended dry periods, frost, and coastal environments.
