Cornus Greenvale is a small, deciduous tree grown for its showy and long-lasting flowers. Masses of the large, light green flowers are borne through spring and summer and are followed by red berries in autumn which are great for attracting birds. It grows with a broad and dense habit carrying dark green leaves which develop colourful orange and red tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 3 m tall and 2.5 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this tree are achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Cornus Greenvale makes an excellent specimen and is great for including in a mixed planting, including in cottage gardens, or for planting around outdoor living areas.
