Cornus florida 'Rubra' is a medium-sized, deciduous tree featuring large and showy, rose-pink flowers in spring before leaves emerge. Red berries follow the flowers in autumn. It grows with a broad and spreading habit, carrying dark green leaves which develop impressive shades of red before falling in late autumn. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide. Cornus florida 'Rubra' makes an excellent specimen tree and is great for including in mixed plantings, using in avenue plantings, or using to border an entrance.
