Cornus florida Rubra is a medium-sized, deciduous tree featuring large and showy, rose-pink flowers in spring before leaves emerge. The flowers are followed by red berries in autumn. It grows with a broad and spreading habit carrying dark green leaves which develop impressive shades of red before falling in late autumn. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide. Cornus florida Rubra makes an excellent specimen tree and is great for including in mixed plantings, using in avenue plantings, or using to border an entrance.

Cornus florida Rubra is a medium-sized, deciduous tree grown for its impressive flowering and attractive form. Large and showy, rose-pink flowers adorn the tree in spring before leaves emerge. The flowers are followed by red berries in autumn which are great for attracting birds. It grows with a broad and spreading habit carrying dark green leaves. As autumn progresses the leaves develop impressive shades of red before falling. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Cornus Rubra makes an excellent specimen tree and is great for including in mixed plantings, using in avenue plantings, or using to border an entrance.
